As Mental Awareness month is now coming to an end, I'd like to wrap it up with this important message. Sometimes it is very easy to put ourselves down. To compare our lives to other's smilingly perfect ones. To belittle our achievements and give into the standards and judgement of others. And, let's face it, the expansion of social media doesn't really help in any way. A lot of the time, we forget about our true gifts, talents and virtues, which make us special, unique and truly one of a kind. There are many out there who wish they could do the things you do, react and comport themselves the way you would in any given situation, perhaps have your crafty or numerical skills, your ability to dazzle with your personality and sense of humour, or maybe be as diligent as you are, or be able to live their everyday in a more relaxed and carpe diem way, like probably you do. Remember, each and every one of us is born with a talent, and we've all got something to offer. Today I'd like to propose we do a little exercise. One that I've been doing for many years. Grab a piece of paper, and write down the things you love most about yourself! It could be your big rounds eyes, your smile, your hair, your joyous character, your immunity to toxic comments, your kindest, your generosity, your spot-on intuitivity, your ability to pic out the perfect gift, your fashion sense, your cooking skills, or absolutely anything you can think of. Life can get so overwhelming that simply jotting things down in a piece of paper can bring us some clarity. Do this exercise a couple of times and promise you eventually won't recognise yourself ! Life changing ! Here's 25 things I love about myself!
Well, that's all for now my loves, and do share bits of your list with me down in the comments!
Xx, Tatiana
